Dana Milbank at The Washington Post quips that a lot of us will be eating Zingers tonight.  His complaint, of course, is that the presidential debates are likely to be rich on “sugary platitudes” and low on “protein.”  Got me thinking:  because tonight’s debate starts near the dinner hour on the West Coast, and because so many of us here will be following the debate at watch parties, there may be more to Milbank’s dietary metaphor than meets the eye…”
